Skydiving Hibaldstow is our venue of the month!

Summer is here and hundreds of people are already heading off in search of sun, but it’s not just the perfect time to be jetting off in a plane, it’s the perfect time to be jumping out of one too! Judging by our recent feedback plenty of you have already taken the plunge too, and that’s why we’re delighted to name Skydiving Hibaldstow as August’s venue of the month!

If you’re ready to prove how much of an adrenaline addict you are Hibaldstow Skydiving is the perfect place experience the rush of free-fall – and we guarantee you’ll love every second! With state-of-the-art equipment, expert instructors and incredible views there’s a lot to love about leaping from a plane at this brilliant skydiving centre.

What really makes Skydiving Hibaldstow special is the team of ever-friendly staff and instructors, who go above and beyond to give every jumper the best experience possible. Even if you’re hit by a bout of last minute nerves they’ll put you at ease in an instant, and once you’ve completed your intensive skydiving training you’ll be raring to go. In total Hibaldstow’s team of instructors have completed in excess of 30,000 jumps and between them have over 75 years of experience, so you can rest assured there’s nobody better qualified to throw you out of a plane!

To add to the incredible skydiving experiences, Hibaldstow Skydiving is also home to a selection of first class facilities, which makes it the perfect place to spend the day. As well as essentials like on-site parking facilities, showers and toilets you’ll also find superb spectator facilities, a fully licensed bar and an excellent café that serves hot and cold food. You can even spend the night in Skydiving Hibaldstow’s fantastic bunkhouse!

One venue in particular stood out though and we’re delighted to name Skydiving Salisbury as May’s venue of the month.

Taking the plunge from 15,000 feet isn’t for the faint at heart, but hundreds of you have headed to our sensational Salisbury venue to experience the thrill of free fall, and it’s easy to see why! With an unbeatable combination of first class facilities and expert instructors, there’s nowhere better to sample skydiving.

Based at one of the UK’s most historic airfields, a skydiving experience at Salisbury Skydiving is far more than just jumping out of a plane. The state-of-the-art training facilities are undoubtedly some of the best around, and they guarantee every jumper the highest level of tandem training before they head for the sky. With a team of experienced tandem masters to teach you everything there is to know too, you can rest assured you’re in safe hands as you get ready to embark on this unforgettable aerial experience.

Venue of the month is 4×4 Ilfracombe

Spring may have finally sprung, but thankfully there’s still plenty of mud about for all you 4×4 fanatics to enjoy – and after a quick look at our most recent feedback it seems there’s plenty of you out there! Over the past month we’ve heard from hundreds of off-road enthusiasts who’ve been taking on 4×4 courses across the country, and by the sound of things you’ve been having an absolute blast. There was one venue that stood out though, and the deserved winners of April’s venue of the month are 4×4 Off-Road Driving Ilfracombe.

When it comes to planning the ultimate off-road experience you need three things: challenging terrain, expert instructors and lots of mud – 4×4 Off-Road Driving Ilfracombe has all three in abundance! In total you’ll find 200 acres of rugged north Devon countryside to explore, and trust us it doesn’t come any bumpier. During your stint at the wheel you’ll encounter everything from loose rocks and deep ditches, to water hazards and impossibly steep hills, pushing your off-roading skills to the limit. In fact, you can never really be sure what’s lurking behind the next bend at 4×4 Off-Road Driving Ilfracombe, but that’s what makes taking on this challenging course so much fun!

Conquering the axle-twisting terrain on offer at Ilfracombe takes some serious skill, but thanks to the team of expert instructors even first time 4×4 drivers can overcome the obstacles. Venue of the month is London Docklands Laser

With the full force of ‘Storm Doris’ battering the most of the UK and Ireland, The Activity People’s indoor laser combat venues became even more popular as people ran inside for cover and competed in an intense military-themed experience! Due to this, there was no shortage of reviews and, after much delegation, we can announce that the March venue of the month is our London Dockland’s Laser Combat venue!

Following in the footsteps of the online shooting franchise of ‘Halo’, our London Dockland’s venue has taking the whole concept of Laser Combat to an all new level. With latest laser technology on hand to provide you with the most exciting gaming experience, our London Dockland’s venue also has full surround sound and SFX lighting to create a surreal, stunning, visual effect that transports you into the virtual world of ‘Star Command’! Your futuristic space war experience takes place in a multi-level arena, with hidden rooms and mazes providing as the perfect cover as you aim to take down the opposition!

With so much epic action to take part in, it’s no wonder that our London Dockland’s venue accumulated a whole array of positive reviews, just like those below!

February’s Venue of the Month is Archery Blackpool

With new activities and new venues flooding into Activity HQ January has absolutely flown by – and February is looking even busier! So with that in mind we thought we’d take five minutes to focus on the important matter of naming February’s venue of the month. Despite the wild winter weather, we’ve received rave reviews for venues across the country. There can only be one winner though and taking the title of February’s venue of the month is Archery Blackpool!

With a tailor-made archery range to take aim from, expert instructors and top-of-the-range equipment there’s a lot to love about our brilliant Blackpool venue – so it’s easy to see why we receive such rave reviews. It’s the picturesque surroundings that immediately grabbed our attention though, and thanks to all those trees you’ll feel like the real life Robin Hood!

It’s not just the first class facilities and picturesque surroundings that makes Archery Blackpool the perfect place to take on the targets, the team of Archery GB trained instructors make sure to pack as much excitement into every experience as possible. So once you’ve mastered the basic bow skills you’ll get to take part in a series of fun competitions and games, which will really twhat you’ve learnt.

Venue of the month – 4×4 Nottingham

With lots of people enjoying an extended break over Christmas and the new year, December was another busy month for The Activity People venues across the country – which of course meant lots of awesome feedback for us to read through before naming our first venue of the month of 2017. Thankfully one venue in particular stood out though, and taking the title of January’s venue of the month is 4×4 Off-Roading Nottingham.

This truly one-of-a-kind venue is set right in the heart of Sherwood Forest, which makes it one of the most unique places to take on an off-road course in the country. It’s not just the location that we love though, the course itself is one of the best around too, and after climbing into the driver’s seat you get to take on a whole host of natural obstacles. So if you like the idea of taking on an impossibly steep 45 degree drop, or wading your way through a sticky mud pit, there’s nowhere better put your skills at the wheel of a 4×4 to the ultimate test!

As well as the incredible all-terrain course, Off-Roading Nottingham also boasts a team of friendly and experienced instructors who are happy to help drivers of all abilities take on the course – and with their help there’s no obstacle too big or small! Not only will you be able to rely on their expert advice, you’ll also be able to count on a top of the range 4×4, and with that winning combination you’ll conquer the course in no time.

The Activity People venue of the month is Tadcaster Archery

With well over 1300 venues, covering 70 different activities, choosing our venue of the month is never an easy task. But after reading through our most recent reviews one venue in particular stood out, and we’re delighted to name Archery Tadcaster as November’s venue of the month.

Located on the grounds of the spectacular Hazlewood castle, this incredible venue is the perfect place to experience archery. The breathtaking surroundings make for a truly unforgettable experience, and our customers love mastering the basic bow skills here. Tadcaster Archery’s not just great for beginners though, if you’re an experienced archer looking to perfect your technique there’s nowhere to take on the targets.

The team of expert instructors at Tadcaster are worth a special mention too, they’re experienced working with archers of all abilities, and with their help you’ll be taking out the targets in no time.
